    　The 7 day holiday was indeed a good time for relaxation and I did have a restful time and enjoyed my peaceful life with my heart. Life needs not big times to fascinate or excite us so that we can feel the pleasure and happiness. What is true, I think, is that we can learn to be appreciative and grateful to enjoy our life and only in this way can we truly understand and appreciate what genuine happiness life brings to us. For the May Day Holiday this year, I didn’t take a trip anywhere as many other compatriots did as I saw on TV. Honestly, I didn’t do anything special during the whole holiday. However, I was grateful at my existence and my experience. What I did was to spend the holiday with my families at home. I didn’t feel any bad at staying at home as I always embraced the opinion that small things, too, can instill as much happiness and pleasure to our heart as big times did. Do you know what I did for the 7-day holiday? I should say in advance that I was not a sleeper sleeping 24-7, nor was I a scallywag eating snacks and food throughout the week. Being constrained on the campus because of the responsibility of dealing with my school assignments, recently I barely had much time to enjoy my days in the city centre of Guangzhou. But here is one thing for all of us to bear in mind: these American style food isn’t healthy at all. And it is strictly advisable that we get away from those foods and have a healthy diet. I was overjoyed to be told to stay away from those foods by someone I cared most aside from my families. And then, in the afternoon, we went to see the new house my Ant bought in the city centre. The entity price hiked a lot than expected, which was the only thing I came up with at the time she told me how much it cost to afford this flat. What a beautiful department. I would love to have one of my own. My heart palpitated but at the same time, I flinched from that frenzied idea because at the moment, my family was in no position to buy one. However, I did believe this was no pipedream in the near future. I still hugged the hope that I could have one nice department in the future in the belief that I could obtain anything with sufficient commitment. Time eclipsed. The sun descended slowly with patches of red clouds shining above and evening winds blow in- even tide was drawing in. After a day’s devotion to activities, we were then hungry. It was always convenient and nice to live in the city which invariably provided you with overall social amenity. We chose a nice restaurant nearby and had a nice dinner. Well. The thing I was appreciative most was the meteoric development of the city. It was developing by leaps and bounds, but how blissful that it was not on the verge of losing its own characteristic- the sound and congenial environment. I was more than happy to see that the air was still so fresh to freshen us up. There is more to Sanshui than meets the eye. It is a small city though. There was much more to eulogize. Seeing is believing- come and have a look, and perceive and appreciate with your heart. It could shock you by presenting you with more than expected.
